2022 07 05 | Host & Emcee Don Miller | Annual Spring Fling & Potluck Dinner @ Miller's

Don & Anne Miller graciously hosted our “Spring Fling” social. The club supplied steaks & chicken, barbequed by Bob Clarke & Colin Heggie. Members brought a variety of snacks, salads & desserts. After dinner, Club Rotary Foundation Chair Jim Kanester presented Paul Harris Fellow pins (for US$1,000 cumulative donations) to Eric Gombrich, Colin Heggie & Dave Weatherill – the latter two receiving “+3” awards.

Dave Weatherill then “pinned” incoming President Calvin Reich, & administered the “oath of office” to 2022/2023 Directors (L-R) Eric Gombrich hiding behind Dave, Michael Wardlow, Calvin, Bev Rundell, Jim Kanester, Don Miller & Colin Heggie. Missing are Teresa Durning Harker & Loredana Eisenhauer.

President Calvin thanked Directors and members for their work over the past couple of challenging years, as we adapted to online meetings, & faced numerous Covid-related event cancellations. He looks forward to leading us through a successful recovery.

Calvin also recognized long & deep contributions to our club from Honorary Members, Marty Armstrong & Dr John Wheeldon, who both joined us for the evening, with their respective wives Judy & Elsie.
