VSSRotary Members Support Kenyan School

Members of the Vernon Silver Star Rotary have continued the Club's ongoing efforts to support youth locally as well as globally by providing funding to the Rise to Shine Education Foundation (RTSEF) in Kenya, Africa.

RTSEF formerly SCARS TO STARS was started to give scholarships to vulnerable children who have been left behind by society. The Foundation sponsors youth through secondary school, as well as ongoing guidance and counseling to empower & transform their lives. They heal their scars and so they can become stars in life and be able to rise and shine throughout life.

Donations are used to provide everything from schooling, shelter, clothing, and feed to youth who attend the primary school as well as go onto attend secondary school.
